Take Care of Your Tender Heart

I’m sure you’ll have heard of the terrible events in Manchester this week. I am, of course, always horrified by every terrorist atrocity, but this one for some reason has shocked me to my core.

Along with, I know, a lot of people. So if you’ve been affected by the awful events this week, or if anything is hurting your heart right now…

Take care of your tender heart.

Notice how you’re feeling.

Let it be what it is.

Let yourself feel it, whatever it is.

Don’t judge how you’re feeling.

Feel it and release it.

The way out is through.

Cry if you want to cry.

Feel sad, angry, hurt, horrified, heartbroken, fearful.

Realise that if you’re sensitive and empathic, you’re probably picking up other people’s emotions too.

Take care of your tender heart.

Give yourself what you need.

Love yourself.

Hug your family.

Be gentle with you.

Shower yourself with light to clear any icky energy.

Process how you feel – write it out, talk it through, sing it aloud, dance it through, run it off, shake it away.

Deepen your self-care and self-love.

Treasure and cherish yourself.

Sleep more.

Let yourself heal.

Step away from social and news media…just because it’s on 24/7, doesn’t mean you have to be.

Ask for the help you need – from friends, loved ones, from your divine team.

Take care of your tender heart.

I love you, I’m sending you love and light and healing for your heart.

Namaste.
