I came up with the idea for these cards in 2011

At the time, I was thinking about how great it would be to have something to remind me (and my coaching clients) to appreciate life, to pay attention to inner wisdom, to have confidence in themselves. One Saturday afternoon, I sat down and made a list of 60 possible cards. Over the following week I added a few more, and took a few ideas away until I had 64 ‘cards’.

At that point, I had no idea how I could get them printed without printing 5000 decks of cards…which seemed an ambitious target for a modest budget, so I simply created the images of the cards, and used random.org to pick a number from 1-64 to ‘pick’ a card. I did this for my coaching clients, for myself, and started to share them on Facebook too.

I’ve now been using and sharing the cards for over 5 years. I’ve been a coach since 2004 and I’m still constantly amazed by how often we forget the simple concepts that help us have great lives…take care of yourself, enjoy life, follow your dreams. The Beach Cards are a wonderful touchstone for all of these ideas and more.

FAQ:

I’d like to see more of the cards, or a preview of them – can I do that?
Absolutely. There are 2 ways to do that – one is to use the old pick a card page (which is nowhere near as cool as the link above…but you can see all the cards) here. The second way is to follow my Facebook page – I pick a beach card every Monday to share, so you get to see a lot of the cards that way.

Are these tarot cards, irreligious or woo-woo?
No, no and some of them! Most of the cards are very down to earth, but here are a couple of the ‘most’ woo-woo cards so you can judge if they’re ‘too’ woo-woo for you!

I’ve never used oracle or guidance cards before, will I be able to use them?
Absolutely, 100%, yes. Simply ask what you need to know today as you shuffle, or cut the pack. That’s it. You can ask your angels, guides, spiritual team or Divine Beloved (whoever that is to you) for help, but you don’t have to. Your intuition and the cards will do the rest.

What are the shipping costs and times?
UK: 2nd Class £2.90 – usually arrives within 2-3 days
Europe: Tracked shipping: £8.70 Usually arrives within 1 week
Rest of World: Tracked shipping: £9.75 usually arrives within 10 days, depending on the country

Because international deliveries are tracked, if you live outside the UK you get to watch your Beach Cards Journey to you…it’s so much fun to see them getting closer to your house.

£14.95? What’s that in real money? 😀
It’s hard to say for certain what the exact cost will be in your currency because it depends on the exchange rate at the time of purchase (and paypal, unhelpfully, don’t share their exchange rates). The best way to find out how much it will be is to click into ‘buy now’ and Paypal should show you the cost in your currency before you confirm your purchase.

To give you a rough idea, in US dollars the price plus postage early 2018 is around $34-$38.

My cards haven’t turned up 🙁
I always keep proof of postage (and international deliveries are tracked) so we can hassle the postal service if anything goes wrong. Unfortunately we may have to wait 4-8 weeks before the parcel will be classed as ‘lost’ and we can put in a claim for lost mail (at which point I will send a new deck). Please be patient in the first instance, but if you’re in the UK and haven’t received your parcel within 3 weeks, or in the rest of the world and haven’t received your parcel in 6 weeks, let me know and we’ll start the process.
